In the Beginning

bradBrad O’Connell has been a local Chef for over 20 years.
He established Tonic Restaurant in 1998. The Restaurant received several National accolades, becoming one of Northland’s finest.
He opened Soda Café in 2004, which quickly became the busiest local Café in Kamo, renowned for its simple home style cooking and great coffee. The Café was sold in 2012
The last two years has seen a steady demand for boutique catering, which Brad was able to manage alongside running the busy restaurant.
